Giekau.com. The most comprehensive online destination for Genealogical Researchers of the Giekau Church District in Northern Germany.

This site is intended for the use of anyone researching the Giekau Church Parish area, our German Friends and Neighbors (anyone in Germany), Emerson, Nebraska Friends and Neighbors (Dakota, Dixon, Thurston, Wayne counties, and anyone else who may have an interest in the area) and our Mineola, Iowa Friends and Neighbors. If there is an area where other large numbers of Giekau families settled please let me know as you are welcome also.
If you are interested in going to Germany you may want to check on the Miscellaneous page for information on the event, in the Giekau area, that is being planned for May of 2008.
